How old are you?

Melbourne, Victoria
How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I’ve been drawing random characters (Spider-Man, Ben 10) honestly as long as I can remember, but started having lessons in 2013 outside of school. I love drawing graphite portraits, with inspiration usually coming from actors, characters or films I really like.
Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
As I’m still at school, no, I do not. However, I’m hoping to head into the direction marketing, so I’ll see where that leads…

What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
Being able to do very well at school whilst still making time for my interests, work, family and friends.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
5 years – University. 10-20 years – Not too sure yet.
If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
This is such a tough one for me, but either Andrew Garfield (favorite actor and Spider-Man) or Marc Webb (I just have a lot of questions).
How is one way you make money with your art?
Haven’t really started to yet, but I’m hoping to start selling some of my portraits.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
Definitely New York. It’s hard to explain, but I just love the feeling of the streets, the architecture, and the general aesthetic. I’d also love to visit several locations from my favorite films!
What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
I always use Faber Castell graphite pencils, and have always loved the results.
Any advice for young artists?
Draw/paint/photograph whatever it is that makes you happy and feel at home with yourself, and, most importantly, have PATIENCE.
