How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I think I’m an artist since 2014 when I finished the Fine arts degree, then was when I had a clear idea of what type of art I want to do. My specialty is character design, that’s what I enjoy the most. With the inspiration I don’t really know where I take it, I can’t say there’s an exact think that inspire me, but in general ideas and style I think Pixar and Blizzard are important referents in my work.

Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
Actually not, recently I finished a video game project with a little studio and if there is a thing I didn’t like to do was mounting hundreds of scenarios coping and pasting the assets like a machine, because It’s repetitive and boring, but I did it, It was part of my job.

And if you ask for my dream job, I want to be character designer for any studio that works with cartoon style art like Riot and Blizzard.

Do you have a favorite Artist?
Yes, I like a lot of artist but actually my favorites are Alexandre Zedig and Alex Konstad. They are really amazing and I like all aspects of their art.

What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
See people playing the video game I worked in and view how the enjoy it, that is really gratification. Although it wasn’t the final version because it’s not released yet, so I suppose when it gets in the market It will be better.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
My hope is to be working as a concept artist and enjoy it

If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
Maybe Budha, I will ask him for the secret of interior peace, it can be very useful I think xD

How is one way you make money with your art?
For now I do commissions when I can.

If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I will visit any tropical paradise, Costa Rica seems nice

What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
I almost work in digital, so I have a few custom brushes that I make and feel good for me, but for the traditional drawing I use to draw with Bic pens, and sometimes with Posca markers, I really like how strong they paint.

Any advice for young artists?
I see myself as a young artist xD, but for the ones more young than me I can give one advice, If you want to get better, focus in few aspects of your art that you feel that need to improve and think about them when you practice, always try to make a step forward in the next iteration of your work.
