How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I’ve always loved making art but its been in the past few years that I’ve committed to make art at any moment I can. My specialty is fine line ink pen illustrations. It’s a wild, wonderful world that never ceases to provide me with endless inspiration. I am heavily influenced by music, movies, TV, fellow artists, and generally taking a darkly humoristic view of daily mundane surroundings.
Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
Not yet. Anything that would allow me to use my art to make a living would be a dream come true.
Do you have a favorite Artist?
Not one particular artist, but I do have several contemporary and classic artists that I look up to. Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo, KAWS, Sketchy Tank, Gustave Dore, Joe King, NYCHOS, and Ron English are just a few of my favorites. There are also countless incredibly talented illustrators on Instagram as well.
What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
I recently completed my degree in Illustration which means a ton to me as working towards it marked a point in my l life where I started taking my art seriously.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
Wherever I am in the future, I just know one thing for certain: I’ll still be making art.
If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
How is one way you make money with your art?
I sell stickers of some of my designs. I also do commissioned illustrations whenever my schedule allows it. Anyone interested can always reach me through IG.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
Mexico. Why not.
What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
Sakura Micron Pens, KRINK ink pens/markers, Canson Bristol Board and Photoshop.
Any advice for young artists?
If you love art never stop making it. Interact with like minded individuals and draw until your fingers bleed…and then draw some more.
