How old are you?
I’m 24, student
Where are you from?
Originally I’m from Ukraine but I live in Portugal half of my life already, and moving to London this year.
How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty?
Drawing was my first passion and after my arts school, in 2013, I started exploring the world of design! I did bachelor in global design at IADE-UE and now i’m finishing masters in industrial design at FEUP-UP.But graphic design won over industrial design – my core is logo and branding design!
Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
I worked as graphic designer in the company for a while and I realized freelancing was more me. I really don’t like when my superior would force me to design something, even if I’d explain it would harm the company. Later I was always blamed for the caused damage – it would make me both sad and frustrated about my work.
What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
I had quite a few accomplishments in the last 4 years I’m happy about. Last one was my project being published in the national business paper!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
In 5 years?.. I see myself in London, working in Design. Hopefully in 10 years I’ll finally open a design business on my own! Connecting business and design is my career purpose!
If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
If I could meet anyone and talk to.. it would be Chris Do! I find him amazing! He inspires me to do my best all the time and to grow both as designer and future business lady.
