How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I Don’t know how long Ive been being an artist, but I paint and draw since I was 15 years old. I started the fine arts grade in 2012 and i finished it in 2016 and even now it’s difficult to me call me an artist, usually I introduce me like an illustrator or a painter because people today associates the word artist with something that I don’t feel identified with. My specialty is the fantasy illustration and the oil paintings, but i think that I’m too young for close me doors at this moment to another ways, that’s why I prove a lot of styles and techniques, for example now I’m doing a lot of concept art, photo montage, sculpture, etc. And I usually find inspiration in my daily life, when I’m distracted doing whatever, of course reading, watching series or listening to music too, but normally it’s the first.

Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
I work as freelance illustrator and concept artist and I collaborated in the past in some video games, also I work occasionally like portrait painter. One thing that i don’t like about my job is some clients that don’t want to take seriously my work, but I try to avoid this type of person. And my goal it’s live from the benefits of my artwork
Do you have a favorite Artist?
It’s difficult decide one, Jeremy Mann, Kim Jung Gi and Karl Kopinski are some of the reference artist that I have , also I usually visit the Museum of Prado for view Francisco De Goya, Diego Velazquez, Zuloaga, Sorolla or Carlos de Haes.
What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
Quitting smoking I think it has been one of the best things I have been able to do. And then in the artistic field, the project that I am always most proud of is the last one I made, in this moment this is my street sketchbooks, which I always take with me and in which I try to capture the day to day in my city.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
Well, in my table drawing for sure, and Madrid it’s the most probably place, but who knows.
If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
With Diego Velazquez, he’s one of my favorite painters of the history and i think that speak whit him could be very interesting.

What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software

Any advice for young artists?
In fact I think that I’m a very young artist but some advice that I usually have in mind are work every day and never give up, sometimes is difficult but it works. And of course surround yourself with hardworking people and with whom you can share knowledge. Good lucky!
