How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I started graphic design at the age of 16. My specialty are the creation of typography / lettering combined to illustration, inspiring by 80’s. I find mind my inspiration in old books, old advertising, airbrush artist and artists like Hajime Sorayama, Alex Trochut, Tyrsa…

Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
I work at the Agency Almarena (www.almarena.fr), we are a multidisciplinary team based in Lyon. We are a small team but with lot of talents. We worked for clients from all domains, industry, travel, automobile, service, association… it’s very interesting !
The thing I don’t like is when I have to work speed and with a deadline very short. I love to take my time and try to give the best of me in a creation.

Do you have a favorite Artist?
Difficult question! I have a lot of favorite artists, all very different, but I think my favorite is definitely Alex Trochut. It was a very big source of inspiration when I start, I love his style, how he use typography, the colors, his creations are very punchy and dynamic and I find me in his work.

What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
My accomplishment is to have been able to become co-manager of a communication agency with my friend whom I met during my studies. It is a project that we build with 2 other associate and I hope that it will go as far as possible!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
Honestly I don’t know, I prefer to live my live in the moment and take the opportunities that come to me. In few months you can meet people, make a lot of things, one year is very different from one year to another, it’s difficult to predict.

If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
Banksy, I am very impressed by his work, and I love the mystery around his identity

If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I love the USA, particularly the Californie. It’s a state who makes me dream, I love sun, ocean, cool and relaxed atmosphere !

What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
I’m in a relationship with my wacom tablet and Photoshop ! ahah. And I always have near me a tombow ABT pencil and a sheet of paper for my Lettering’s and Illustrations.

Any advice for young artists?
