In this tutorial we explore how to use the stabilize motion tracker in after effects. This effect is sometimes called the Sherlock Holmes effect as it was featured in the film “Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows” featuring Robert Downey Jr.. This effect creates the idea that the camera is in perfect sync with a particular object in your scene, potentially the most powerful way to use this effect would be to lock on to a character’s eyes. This creates an effect that’s also reminiscent of David Fincher styled camera work.

Artist Connect is a platform for artist to discover, share, and connect with one another. Our number one priority here is the artist, we want to offer exposure and help people find your art that otherwise may not have, but not only that, we want to help people get to know the artist behind the art. We have always loved hearing from artists and getting to know them, and our audience has responded very positively to the interviews, they love them just as much as we do!
