How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I’ve been into art and design my whole life, but have been a practicing architect/designer since 2012 and have been doing my photo series, GLLLITCHED since 2015. As an architect most of my inspiration comes from spaces (built / natural) – and I try to emphasize the possibilities of new realities as I see them through my photo manipulation work.

Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
I am an architect/designer so, yes somewhat. I work at an architecture firm in Israel doing mostly large scale commercial projects. Sometimes it’s hard to keep the creativity a priority when working on construction documents/etc. so I think that’s one thing I struggle with, but otherwise I love what I do.
Do you have a favorite Artist?
Not one in particular but I have always loved the ideas of Daniel Arsham of Snarkitecture as well as Yayoi Kusama.
What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
I have two degrees in architecture in which I completed in 7 years – a Bachelor of Art in Architecture (Miami University) as well as a Masters in Architecture (Pratt Institute). I have also recently immigrated to Israel (made aliyah) so that’s also a huge accomplishment!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
I don’t like to plan the future, instead I take life as it comes and have a rough idea of the direction I’m going in. I wouldn’t put any guarantees on 5, 10, or 20 years from now in terms of what I’ll actually be doing, but I would love to expand my digital artwork further and see myself in galleries one day.
If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
Kanye West
How is one way you make money with your art?
I participate in group gallery shows, as well as art fairs / all my work is always available for purchase
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I am lucky to have traveled a lot in my life – but currently I have been dreaming of seeing the Northern Lights, I can’t imagine how beautiful it must be in person.

What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
I don’t really have one since most of my work is digital – but I wouldn’t be able to live without Adobe Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator / my iPhone!
Any advice for young artists?
Follow your dreams! Don’t allow anyone to tell you you can’t do something – you can always get to your goal if you want it badly enough.
