How long have you been an artist?
I don’t usually think that I am an artist, but I often think that art is a creation from a vision, I have been designing something since I can remember, from words to images, either creating images for myself or trying implementing a vision to others by inspiring them, in hope the person I am talking to will be more enlightened and feel more free, The latest years I start to do more my own pictures. I think its more exciting to inspire people and connecting with other people through my images.
What is your specialty?
I have not really found my specialty yet and if I’m lucky enough I might never find it, I go along with my idea, my vision, the playing the pleasure while creating something is more important for me and I like being open minded. I know my landscape pictures are more popular than my portraits or any of other my works, but I know they are not my specialty, they are simple part of my work.
I like to work with other people, so I am starting to do a little more photoshoots.
Where do u find inspiration?
I like to meditate, most of the ideas when you at least expect them pop up, and when the mind start to build on it, I get more inspired and motivated to bring them to light.

Do you have a job in the art industry?
No, at least not full time, I work in commercial Airline company as a component coordinator. That is my fulltime job. But that is only 8 hours a day, the remaining sparetime is for family and my personal passion for creating images. But when that is said, I have allied my photography activities with my wifes small business and under her company and after my work I can take some tasks.
If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it?
I cannot always get the images the way I imagined the images should be, because I have to put my customers vision and wish before my own, Sometimes I can feel that I don’t have the freedom to create the images that I am creating according to my own vision.
And sometimes customers think photography is simple. And that there is not so much work.
If no, where would your dream job be?
Full time photographer with lots of exciting tasks from landscape photography, wild life photography to fashion and portraits photography. – perhaps I could find a way to do corporation with companies to provide them the images they need for their marketing etc.
Do you have a favorite Artist?
I have many favorite artists, and its really depends on your mood.
But right now maybe Sails Chong and his team, he is an amazing artist, his visions and his work can give me goosebumps over and over again.

What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
Starting to believing in myself, this mental state of mind means the world to me and I can see my life has change to the better, I am more open, I learn new things better and have more understanding.
I feel less anger and my actions has become more constructive.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
Five Years, Becoming business partner with my wife, and expand her business with photography
10 years developing the business. Being successful.
20 years retiring from running the business and start doing art for my self and enjoying life.
If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
Siddhartha Gautama, Thich Nhat Hanh and Eckhart Tolle.
How is one way you make money with your art?
Maybe you will be surprised, its not just the outcome of image quality gets you clients, also a lot about the signal you give along with your creation, the signal that gives you are approachable and cooperative.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
China, I love China, my wife and daughter are Chinese, first thing is to give my daughter this experience, to find her Chinese roots, since she already have start to have knowledge of her Greenlandic/Danish roots.
Second reason would be, easier access to do any photography genre in China than Greenland.
China has big cities, villages, arctic (cold climate), dessert, amazing people, many many culture people with different cultural backgrounds, amazing construction and structures, beautiful landscapes, you name it, I bet we can find it China.
What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
Camera and light.
I have been working with Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Olympus, Sony, Panasonic.
I have sold everything else and kept my mirrorless Sony Camera, I think Sony is my favorite camera tool for now. But I just need tools, the most important is to reproduce the idea in life, second most important is having fun while doing it, third most important is people (if other people need to be involved) light, fourth most important is light fifth most important is software and your knowledge and experience and at the least important is Camera and lens.
The very most important thing is your knowledge.
Any advice for young artists?
Play and have fun, because its not just about image quality, but the quality of your pleasure will insure the momentum of your creativity and experience, and if you allow yourself to have plenty of fun, everything will escalate.
