How old are you?
I am 26 years old.
Where are you from?
I am from Naples in Italy
How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty?Where do u find inspiration?
I have always loved art and every one of its forms of expression, I don’t think there is a date when I have become an artist I think it’s a long path with different steps. I like a lot to work with the 3d, because it’s a very powerful tool! You can create everything is in your mind, the only limit is your imagination. Especially, I love the complex materials like the skin, it’s very interesting for me the reaction to the light. Apart from this experimenting is my motto, so if I see something that inspire me I try to change in the 3d world. Internet is a wonderful place, you can find what you want, but sometimes also here you can see always the same thin, depends about the trends. So usually I try to find inspiration in a different way: in a book art or sometimes when I am walking around the city I often look at the writing on the walls, like graffiti that i love.
Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
At the moment I am working a lot as a freelancer for some private clients and for the video game industry as animator. I like a lot to work directly for the client because you are the agency. So you write the concept the storyboard and then start to produce it.
So sometimes it’s very difficult but you have more freedom about the final style of the product.
Do you have a favorite Artist?
It’s very difficult to say just an artist or a couple of them. Because if you look an artwork in a two different moments maybe you can’t see the same thing. About the classical art I love a lot the abstraction, especially Kandinskij. But in the present I follow a lot of people that have a strong attitude about the art, some of them are writers and others are 3d artist like me. For example I like Banksy, Ghost Ea about the writers and Antony Tudisco and Erik Ferguson like a 3d Artist. Two different way of both of category.
What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
I made some images for Ferrari and it was a very pleasure for me work with this famous and big company. About the animation I participated at Giffoni Film Festival with a independent cartoon, Skinny, it was a very great experience for me.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
My dream is to open a little advertising agency and work not just in my coutry but help different company from different country, with a great team, different people also from different country and every with specialization in a different field of communication and art.
If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
My favorite singer is Fabrizio De Andrè is a big Italian artist, unfortunately is dead a lot of time ago. He was a poet so my dream since I was child It’s to talk with him.
How is one way you make money with your art?
I help company to sell their product and to show in a different way. If you see a product in a beautiful scene you are more inclined to buy it. It’s a simple concept but hard to apply.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I like to travel in particular not as a tourist but as a worldwide citizen, so I had some experience for a couple of months in different city in Europe and I think that I don’t have just one place where I’ll be to live, I think that you can know the city only if you live it like a citizen.
Anyway I have been a lot of times in Berlin but unfortunately as tourist, but one day I will live there!
What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
The principal way I made art is with a computer, my favorite software is MAxon Cinema 4d because it’s very simple and you have a lot of tool in your mind, you just to know where they are.
Any advice for young artists?
It’s difficult to learn something about art alone, you need comparison with other people and not on the web but face to face so the first step maybe It’s an art academy that prepare you for every future possibility.
You’re a great artist. Congratulations for your experiments. They are very interesting and are the basis for much more complex work.
