How old are you?
I just turned 27 ! This famous age

Where are you from?
I’m from a bit everywhere in France, but mainly South of France, Le sud !  And then I moved to London for three years and I’m now settling down in Montreal, I needed peace.

How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I’m drawing since forever, I really started to work on it around my 20s, so it’s been 7 years now ! I specialize myself in traditional drawing, acrylic painting and digital painting. About my inspirations…. We, humans, we, feelings, the universe, our link to it, what are we, what do we feel, how do we feel. A mixture of old school romanticism and psychedelic revelations. My inspirations are mainly deep down inside of me, a quote somewhere that I read and makes me react differently inside.

Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
I do have a job in the art industry, I’m a Lighting Technical Director for a featured film  VFX company, Framestore, who just won an Oscar for the work on Blade Runner 2049.
I like everything about my job ! Except productions people sometimes… haha.

Do you have a favorite Artist?
Egon Schiele, Lucian Freud, Jean – Honore Fragonard, James Jean, Francis Bacon, zdzisław beksiński, Android Jones, so many !

What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
Accept to consider myself as an artist after many people told me I was able to express more about feelings through my drawings they were not able to put words on for themselves. Make people feel something through my art.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
Hopefully in my own art studio painting and creating shit forever and ever.

If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
Elon Musk

How is one way you make money with your art?
I’m selling prints, but it’s not the best option. I’m working on it haha

If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
In a Shipibo tribe in the Amazonian forest, because I wanna live with almost no clothes and their relation to Nature and it’s Gods is fascinating. It’s a HUGE part of my inspirations and personal beliefs.

What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
Classic Faber Castell for all pen/pencils related and Winsor and Newton for all painting related.

Any advice for young artists?
There’s no talent, just training.  I wasn’t able to draw 10 years ago. I just find what I needed to say to the world and my own therapy in Art. Whatever you do, do it with your guts and never stop practicing.
