How old are you?

Where are you from?
From Chile

How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I think I’ve been an artist all my life since I was little, I’m always interested in everything related to art, my mother is a painter and my brother makes wood carvings

As a small child I remember reviewing an encyclopedia of my father and came to a part where they explain what water is and then for the first time in my life I saw an image of a snow crystal that fascinated me and I liked it very much, I believe that from that experience my attention was drawn to sacred geometry.

My love for digital art began when I left school and I studied advertising for 1 year at the university, I did not like the degree and I left it but it helped me to learn how to use Photoshop and to start expressing my dreams and ideas.

My specialty is related to experiences that I lived when I was studying at the university many years ago with a group of psychology students. We tested LSD and mescaline since then my mind opened and from there I began to portray my experiences through art, it was a great experience there was clearly a before and after, I never tried them again but they served to know something about me that was hidden

I am a psychologist by profession my inspiration is the mind, dreams, fantasies, fears, desires, nature, love.

Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you do not like about it? If not, where would your dream job be?
By profession I am a psychologist and I’m doing pretty well, supermazzer is my alter ego so I have not thought about making money through art but it could be an option, someone would have to help me to see how we can sell my art but for the moment I like it so. My dream job is what I do every day thanks to my profession

Do you have a favorite Artist?
If many departing for Salvador Dali, Marcel Duchamp, Matta, Goya, and the current ones I really like Larry Carlson, Alex Gray and Android Jones

What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be related art.
One of the greatest achievements of my life is to have the ability to see the simple not to get carried away by this material world, the ability to love and be loved for me is the most.

The television lies to you, the fashion, the culture is sometimes so tremendous the mental control, I give thanks to the life of being able not to belong to the culture of the consumption.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
I always do art for me and if someone likes it, it’s very good
I think that in 5, 10 and 20 more years I will continue working as a psychologist and I hope that supermazzer continues to grow, I am a constant creator

If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
I would like to talk to some Egyptian pharaoh and tell me how the pyramids were built.

How is one way to make money with your art?
Actually this point does not interest me but I’m not closed to the possibility of selling my art but for the moment it’s just my alter ego

If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
That place would be my home enjoying with my wife and children

What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software.
I like Photoshop and any good camera will meet the objective

Any advice for young artists?
Keep going even if nobody trusted you
Work for your dreams, not those of others
Wake up your conscience,
That every day is worth it
Turn off the TV
