How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration? I’ve been working in design for about 10 years…I’ve been working for myself for 2-3 years. I mainly create Minimalist style ‘caricatures’ but I also love drawing cartoon/manga pieces! Inspiration wise…. I watch a lot of TV and I read ALOT of books and comics!

Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
It’s perfect I get to sit and watch TV and draw. what more could you ask for?!

Do you have a favorite Artist?
Scott Campbell, Jack Lawrence, Huck Gee, Fiona Staples, Mike Mignola

What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
I’ve got 2 awesome Kids…and I was also an extra in the BBC drama El Dorado (one of these is better than the other.)

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
Hopefully just doing more of what I’m doing…I’m pretty happy with my lot. But in 20 years I’ll be 57……which is petrifying.

If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
David Attenborough. That man is the best and has seen everything.

How is one way you make money with your art?
I sell art prints at Comic conventions… which I really enjoy as you get to speak to so many people with similar interest to you!

If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
Japan. one day….

What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
Adobe Illustrator…. I use nothing else now.

Any advice for young artists?
Just believe in yourself… I think creative people tend to be very tough on themselves and their work…. It took me a long time to just do this (even though everyone else told me it’s what I should be doing!!) and I could not be happier now
