How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I have been an artist for over 5 years now. Although I consider myself a design generalist, I specialize in motion graphics and logo design. My biggest source of inspiration is music, a lot of times while working on an abstract piece, I throw on a cool playlist and everything seems to flow a bit better. I also look for inspiration on Dribbble and Behance.
Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
No, I currently work as an engineer. My dream job in the art industry would probably be working for studios like The Mill on their various projects.
Do you have a favorite Artist?
I have many favorite artists, my current favorite is Zigor Samaniego (IG @zigor). I just love the way he makes his renders come alive.

What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
I won the first prize in Microsoft Imagine Cup India finals (Games Category) for a game that I and my team created for Windows Phone.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
I see myself working to build my own company in 5 years. I’m not really sure whether it would be purely design based or a mix of design and technology. I already have a couple of ideas that I have started to flesh out bit by bit.
If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
Elon Musk
How is one way you make money with your art?
Freelancing and selling design assets on various creative markets.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I would love to visit Iceland to see the Northern lights. Also, Iceland overall is mesmerizing and I believe it would be an unreal experience to be there.
What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
I absolutely love Cinema 4D, the ease with which you can achieve beautiful renders is unmatched in any other 3D program.

Any advice for young artists?
Just. Keep. Creating.
The only way you’re going to get paid work is by creating a stellar portfolio which is not possible unless you have paid work in the first place, you see the deadlock there? I found that by creating a portfolio of personal projects I was able to get much more paying clients than by including just my freelance work in the portfolio.
