How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I’ve been an artist for about 10 years but only recently started learning and improving the craft. I really enjoy drawing comic book style art. I get my inspiration from comics mostly and seeing how other artists make their work.
Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
I don’t have a job yet. But I am currently looking to teach art at any level. Would love to be a comic book artist or graphic designer.
Do you have a favorite Artist?
I have many but a few that have inspired me have been Jim Lee, Alex Ross and @dinotomic I love these artists and I have used their styles and blended them into mine.
What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
Honestly I don’t have anything right now that I’d consider an accomplishment. I did however get to go to San Diego Comic Con which was a dream come true, it was so amazing.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
Hopefully I plan to be teaching art or have a job in the media industry.
If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
I would love to meet Jim Lee and talk about art and comics all day and hopefully get one to one advice, haha.
How is one way you make money with your art?
At this point I don’t I am looking to start very soon which will be through etsy.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I would go to New Zealand and basically travel to Middle Earth.
What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
I have to say caren d’ache luminance I’ve only recently started to use then but they are amazing to use. Such rich colours and the strength of the lead is very good.
Any advice for young artists?
I’d say that draw everyday, minute you get a chance too. Practice is everything, and you can do anything if you work hard enough to achieve it.
