How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I am drawing since I was a child. I always loved drawing my favorite characters of tv series or video games. I don’t know which is my specialty because I love a lot of styles of drawing, realistic, manga, cartoon… for a long time I have been drawing realistic style, but now, I draw cartoon. I love changing the style and learning new forms of art. I think it’s important to learn different styles and not get caught up in styles that I’ve been doing for a long time, it’s very important to me to evolve
Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
Nowadays, I am working as a illustration teacher and freelance illustrator. As a teacher, I love to see how my students learn and improve, it is a big satisfaction. As a freelance I like to do different projects of different clients, I learn a lot of them, but sometimes the clients are very sure of what they want and is difficult to do something creative or personal.

Do you have a favorite Artist?
Yes! A lot! Denis Zilber, Assaf Horowitz, Cory Loftis, Max Kostenko, Norman Rockwell, , Randy Bishop… Everyone is fantastic. Each one gives me something different: design, composition, color, characterization, structures, ideas … I think it is very important to know different artists and learn from them

What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
This question is difficult… I think that professional and personal evolution is an achievement. I always set goals to keep evolving. but if I had to say one, maybe living in a big city like Madrid has given me the opportunity to work on what I like.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
I do not know … 5 years I think it’s early, I do not think it would change my life too much, however in 10 or 20 years I would like to work in a great company illustrating or designing characters while I work as a teacher.

If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
Norman Rockwell or Egon Schiele! I was lucky to meet Denis Zilber in a workshop in Spain
How is one way you make money with your art?
I am a freelance illustrator. I do commissioned work.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I like many countries, Russia, China, Japan, Korea … but if I had to choose one, maybe Japan for culture, architecture, art ..
What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
Wacom Cintiq, since I have one, I am the happiest man in the world. It is very easy to work in digital. In the traditional art Faber Castell and Winsor & Newton.
Any advice for young artists?
Always follow your dreams, have a goal, work hard, listen to others and be honest, and above all have fun 🙂
