How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
4 years ago I started teaching myself, its been every day since then. My specialty is portraying my internal state, the psychedelia of life, the geometry of the universe. I find inspiration in every corner you could think of. Sometimes its a dumpster that looks like a character to me, sometimes watching a movie that allows me to grasp an emotion,

Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
I am currently a tattoo apprentice to someday be a full fledged tattoo artist, I’ve been designing tattoos for people for a few years so this was naturally the next step. I don’t like that some people are rude or don’t know what kind of tattoo they even want, but overall having a job that allows me to do art and fund more art is a dream come true.

Do you have a favorite Artist?
One favorite artist no. To name some of my absolute favorites Salvador Dali, Laurence Caruana, Alex Grey, Jofrah, Leonardo Da Vinci.

What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
Conquering the fear of being my self unabashedly. Its a life long process but I feel breaking through the first layer to declare to oneself that you will simply be oneself and nothing else is one of the greatest accomplishments anyone could make.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
In 5 years I see myself traveling with tattoo, using my art to spread love and travel the world. In 10 years I would like to teach art, possibly to an apprentice, maybe to children, spreading what I’ve learned would be amazing. In 20 years I would like to disappear completely. To find a small shack on the beach in a tropical country and make art every single day.

If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
Oh jeez not sure I could pick one! Don’t judge me but it would be between Plato and Amy Winehouse. Plato would just be amazing to pick his brain for a while, his thought process was truly one of the greatest marvels of the world. Amy has changed my life with her music and it resonates me in a way I can’t put into words, if I could just thank her it would be enough for me.

How is one way you make money with your art?
I do design commissions, sell prints on my site, and honestly take up any side jobs I can get to finance my art. Being a working artist is one of the most humbling experiences one can live out, anyone who is willing to pay you for it in the beginning you should take and thank to no end.

If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I really want to go to Egypt to visit the ancient sites, there is something that has always fascinated me about the culture and I think it would be remarkable to experience a sliver of what happened there in person.

What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
I love Pigma Sakura Micron pens! Been using them for years and fallen in love.

Any advice for young artists?
There is absolutely no secret to becoming a great artist. It is an unbelievable amount of time and effort, passion and dedication and none of it will be easy. Anything easy will probably not be great, so if you feel you are challenging yourself, you’re on the right path. Remember not to take anything too seriously though either, life itself is a Mystery, marvel in it.
