How long have you been an artist? What is your specialty? Where do u find inspiration?
I’ve been an artist for about 3 years. I would consider my specialty to be travel photos, usually including a human subject. I find inspiration from just seeing so many amazing photos on instagram. Another massive source of inspiration are all my creative friends, who constantly push me to see and create more.

Do you have a job in the art industry? If So, what’s one thing you don’t like about it? If no, where would your dream job be?
I do, I’m a full time freelance photographer and videographer. I would say finding motivation would be my biggest struggle with it.

Do you have a favorite Artist?
Sam Kolder for video, Jord Hammond and Emmett Sparling for photo

What is one accomplishment you’ve had in your life? Does not need to be art related.
In my opinion my biggest accomplishment was becoming self employed. Feels great

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?
Ideally the answer to all those is the same, doing what I’m doing now. Ideally over 10 and 20 years I would take more of a teaching/speaking role than actually being out shooting all the time, but I definitely want to stay in this industry long term.

If you could meet and talk to any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
Ansel Adams, I think it would be rad to hangout with someone with such passion for photography and the outdoors.

How is one way you make money with your art?
Weddings, one of the best ways to break into the industry.

If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
Italy, I’ve been dying to go back since last fall. Its got everything, amazing coasts, beautiful mountains and delicious food.

What is your favorite brand of art supply? Whether it’s a brand of pencils or brand of camera or software
I’d have to say DJI, always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Great quality reliable gear.

Any advice for young artists?
Keep practicing and working hard, everyday. There is always room for improvement. But most importantly make your art true to you.
